Material:
Body and ball stud 230 M07 Pb leaded low carbon steel equivalent 9S Mn
Pb 28K, tensile strength 430-500N/mm˛. Ball stud is case hardened.
Clip CS 70 carbon steel strip, hardened and tempered.
Protective Finish:
Body and ball stud Zinc plated, de-embrittled and yellow passivated.
The assembly is lubricated.
Clip 'Dacromet' finish.
PM Ball Joint
- Lightweight and slim line.
- To resist wear, the ball stud and body cavity are both case hardened.
- PM Ball Joint is avalible without the ball stud for assembly on to a pre-positioned ball stud. The ball studs are also avalible separately.
- The spring clip allows the ball stud to be easily disconnected or re-assembled during installation.
- Hexagon form of studs facilitates assembly.
