Body and ball stud 230 M07 Pb leaded low carbon steel equivalent 9S Mn Pb 28K, tensile strength 430-500N/mm². Ball stud is case hardened.
Inner retaining ring 1.12 spring steel to BS 5216
Protective Finish:
Body and ball stud Zinc plated, de-embrittled and yellow passivated.

FM Ball Joint

• Metric equivalent to SAE J490 Style 4.
• Ball strud retained by hardened and tempered steel ring resulting in high pull-out load.
• Optional polychloroprene gaiter avalible to help resist dirt ingress.
• If a fitted gaiter is required, please add G to the part number e.g. FMG 8.
• FM Ball Joint is ideal for severe wear conditions and is also resistant to vibration and high shock loading.
